Pinpoint Clamping
Not all objects are simple to put back together. There are bulges, curves, and pointy bits require special clamping consideration. Sometimes we have to create custom clamping blocks, or in this case, borrow a clamping technique used in the construction of violins.
A temporary weighted table is constructed. The curvy object like this bowl, is placed below. Long wood dowels are wedged between the table and the object.
